Greenwood’s Ski Haus Expands Year-Round
BOISE, Idaho — A Treasure Valley ski shop since 1957, Greenwood’s Ski Haus is entering a new chapter. Known for generations as a specialty ski shop, Greenwood’s is expanding its offerings with the addition of snowboard equipment next winter, as well as summer operations featuring town e-bike rentals and competitive swim retail.
While the expansion marks a significant evolution, the shop’s core identity remains unchanged.
“You may know us as Boise’s specialty ski shop,” said Adam Dorfler, Marketing Director at Greenwood’s Ski Haus. “Skiing is the foundation of everything we do. These additions are about strengthening that foundation so we can continue to invest in the ski experience our customers rely on.”
For decades, Greenwood’s has built its reputation on deep product knowledge, precision ski tuning, and a comprehensive boot fitting process designed for long-term comfort and performance. The same level of expertise and attention to detail will guide every new category the shop introduces.
“We’re not interested in simply adding more,” said Riley Moffatt, General Manager at Greenwood’s Ski Haus. “We want to do it right. Whether it’s snowboards, e-bikes, or swim gear, our goal is to deliver the same level of service and expertise that the community has come to expect from us in skiing.”
Historically operating as a winter-focused business, Greenwood’s will now remain open through the summer season. Greenwood’s will continue to sell ski equipment all year and introduce town e-bike rentals that offer both locals and visitors a new way to experience Boise. The addition of competitive swim retail expands the shop’s reach into another performance-driven category.
The expansion is part of a long-term vision to grow responsibly while reinvesting in the shop’s ski operations, ensuring Greenwood’s continues to serve the Treasure Valley ski community for generations to come.
