JOB SUMMARY: Greenwoods is open during the winter ski season, and closed in the summer. We hire shop and rental staff in the fall, and you’ll work through to spring. Employees enjoy flexible work hours, employee discounts on gear and clothing, and the opportunity to learn the craft of ski tuning. We understand that experience is usually limited, and we will teach you the skills needed to accurately size rental gear and provide the best level of service to the Boise area ski community. Our Techs are responsible for all aspects of both the ski rental process as well as the process of adjusting and tuning skis. Greenwoods will provide training for all the various duties and skills that will be involved. Job Requirements: - Completion of ski binding certifications assigned by your supervisor - Maintain Rental & Demo Skis and Snowboards board fleet - Selecting, fitting, and adjusting rental products - Learn essentials of ski tuning and binding application - Maintain a clean and tidy work area - Be eager to learn, and share knowledge with enthusiasm - Welcome change and the excitement of new possibilities - Always be optimistic and strive to do better than the day before - Think creatively, and find better ways to help our customers - Love the outdoors and get excited when it snows, even if it means we have to shovel - Value and pursue a healthy and active lifestyle PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS  - This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation  - Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 30 pounds - Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis  - Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis  - Positive attitude with strong guest services and communication skills a must  - Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis - Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees - Auditory and visual acuity to operate heavy machinery, computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis. Job Summary -The Soft Goods Associate provides an engaging customer experience through friendly and efficient service. Demonstrates excellent customer service, provides product knowledge to the customer, and maintains store appearance. Job Requirements: - Provide customer service by greeting and communicating with guests, answering phones, and performing POS transactions efficiently. - Maximize sales opportunities by restocking as needed, correctly merchandising products, providing input about inventory levels, and attending store clinics to obtain product knowledge. - Complete daily opening and closing procedures and daily duties provided by manager and/or supervisor. - Be able to assess skis as they come in to determine was service is needed. Demonstrates excellent customer service, provides product knowledge to the customer, and maintains store appearance. Job Duties: - Provide customer service by greeting and communicating with guests, answering phones, and performing POS transactions efficiently. - Maximize sales opportunities by restocking as needed, correctly merchandising products, providing input about inventory levels, and attending store clinics to obtain product knowledge. - Required to gain a deep understanding of skis, boots, and binding technology. Fit boots and customize the fit based on your knowledge and customer input. - Complete daily opening and closing procedures and daily duties provided by manager and/or supervisor.
