Stockli Montero AX w/ Strive 13 Green

Stockli position the Montero series as being all mountain skis that sit between the pure piste carving Laser models and the freeride Stormrider skis.

With a sidecut of 128-84-112 mm the Montero AX has enough width to make fresh snow fun and the shape to carve hard on piste and charge hard in chopped up conditions.
With a full wood core sandwiched between two titanal sheets, the Montero AX offers smooth powerful performance. Stockli have cut slits in the top titanal sheet at the tip and tail, allowing some torsional flex which improves turn initiation and exit and gives these skis a slightly more forgiving character than true race skis.
The Montero AX offers superb edge grip on hard snow, smooth turn progression and copes very well with changeable snow conditions.
